Avalanche Studios

• Avalanche Studios was founded by Christofer Sundberg, Linus Blomberg and Viktor Blomberg in 2003. The studio is located in Stockholm, Sweden and currently employs 160.
• Avalanche Studios is a privately held independent games developer and focuses on Original IP or selected high-profile licenses and innovative games technology.
• Just Cause was Avalanche Studios first game and was released in September 2006. The game has recieved several awards.
• The company currently works on Just Cause 2 and three other projects for different platforms, genres and publishers. More information to follow later this year.
• The Avalanche Engine (current version 2.0) is the studios' proprietary engine. The engine is focused on large landscapes with varied climates zones. The engine also features advanced weather effects, day-to-night cycles and much more.
