Community Update

Wednesday, 30th September 2009

Hello All,

Firstly a big THANK YOU to everyone for their patience, support, suggestions and questions.

They do mean a lot and are greatly appreciated.

As mentioned in our last Community Update - the review of the past few weeks is rapidly coming to a head with the last T's being crossed and the last I's being dotted, so you can expect to see the welcome return of Dan & the 'In Development' & 'Coming Soon' Blogs. Watch this space...

While meetings, reviews and discussions have been taking place the EHR has remained as busy as ever with a number of competitions coming to a close this last weekend.

We would like to say Congratulations to all our winners. ultiMs and DogNuts claimed the high honours for the 'Weekend Coyote Cull' and 'Bull's Best', bringing some fresh new faces to the competition podiums. Many congratulations to them both on claiming their first trophies and after the fine performances we are sure that they won't be the last.

Not to be left silent, the veterans were also in the running with BEST85 taking Gold in 'Whole lotta Turkey'. Having posted a worthy 3rd place at the end of last month it goes to show the difference persistence and a bit of practice can make with a tremendous jump for the Top Spot.

But the stand-out Victory has to be kurczaq who claimed Gold in 'Honeybee's Weekend Muley' with a Leaderboard Busting 246 Mule Buck, grabbing not only the em$s but also a very good chance of a Hall of Fame spot. Certainly a trophy any hunter should be proud of.

But theHunter.com is not just about being out in the EHR with the wind in your face and the trill of birdsong in your ear. Not to be left out several dedicated members of The Hunter forums have been busy again with their cameras and image software, in order to come up with even more suggestions for wild (and wacky) additions to the EHR.

We would very much like to thank NAoutdoors and DereFonzie for creating the above images. Don't forget, if you have some outstanding shots of great trophies or just an image of the EHR that never ceases to take your breath away, be sure to share it with other The Hunter fans. If you would like to know how to take images like these you can find out more in The Hunter Forums.

Happy Hunting
